a. Eat Right

Eating the right kinds of food leading up to race day will aid your performance on the event day. It is also important to stay away from unhealthy options like fast food, junk food or fried foods. Remember not to ride on an empty stomach - it is important to get your blood sugar level up and take in sufficient calories to ensure optimal performance.

b. Get a few good night’s sleep  

Ideally you should get a few good night’s rest before race day. Skip the late night parties and movies with friends for some extra hours of sleep. This will mean a huge difference on D-Day.  

c. Prepare Physically

Just as what you eat is important, so is keeping your muscles free from strain and injury. Do proper warm-ups and cool-downs to reduce incidence of muscle tension. Use Tiger Balm ACTIVE Muscle Rub, Gel and Spray, specially formulated by Tiger Balm to keep you active and ready for your big ride. 

d. Safety First
