Singapore Children's Society helps protect and nurture children and youth of all races and religions, especially those who are abused, neglected, and/or from dysfunctional families. Each year, we reach out to about 46,000 children, youth and families in need. With the economic downturn in 2009, not only have the number of children and families seeking help and support increased, but the cases encountered by our social workers were also more complicated and complex.

We are an independent and non-profit organisation that relies on public support for our Residential home for abused and neglected children (Sunbeam Place), before-and-after school care for children from needy families, after-class activity “CABIN” in 19 neighbourhood schools, a toll-free children’s helpline (Tinkle Friend Helpline), counselling and developmental programmes, public education and more.

But more importantly, our work involves instilling a sense of hope and faith in these children. We seek to help these children to build up their resilience and self-confidence. To us, these children have more reasons to shine brightly in the future, for life have handed them with a lot of challenges.

We hope you too share our vision in helping these children grow up to their full potential.  Your donation will go into the various programmes designed for the development and care of the children, including their education, food and shelter needs.
